A JOURNEY TO SELF LOVE AGAIN: Where does it begin?

Girls, let's help each other out, let's be each others biggest supporters, let's rain each other with compliments, let's keep each other accountable, let's remind each other of who we belong to, and where our identity is found. The reality is, our thoughts, mindsets and beliefs about ourselves all heavily impact the way we feel and act. Whether they be positive or negative, truthful or false they all have an impact. So what do you believe about yourself? What have you spoken over yourself that has become a cemented belief in you?

We need to begin by setting up a strong foundation. Perhaps this will involve re-shaping old beliefs and creating new mindsets in order to move forward. Because the truth is, you are more than worthy of recovery, of moving forward, of being joyful and of being free from misconceptions about what it is to be beautiful. So let's start:
YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL
Regardless of what the media may deem to be 'beautiful', you are indeed beautiful- flaws and all. Regardless of what people have spoken over you in the past, you are uniquely crafted in the image of God.
Psalm 139:13-16
'Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out; you formed me in my mother’s womb. I thank you, High God—you’re breathtaking! Body and soul, I am marvelously made! I worship in adoration—what a creation! You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something. Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you, The days of my life all prepared before I’d even lived one day.'
YOU ARE WORTHY
Despite your mistakes, whether there be few or many, you are worthy.
YOU ARE LOVED
Whether people have neglected or abandoned you, you are still loved. You mightn't always feel it but the love God has for you is far beyond what you could comprehend or imagine. In fact His love is the greatest love story of all.
Romans 5:8
'But God demonstrates his own love for us in this:
While we were still sinners, Christ died for us'.
YOU WILL MAKE MISTAKES AND THAT'S OKAY
Sometimes we can be our biggest critics. We create goals, strive for the goals yet we fail to reach them because we make mistakes along the way. We can then end up tearing ourselves apart feeling as though we were never worthy of reaching them in the first place. But that's not true. We will make mistakes and the sooner we are able to accept ourselves for that, the sooner we can move on from them.
WHAT CAN WE DO???
So...how can we help others to shift the deliberating mindsets and beliefs they may hold about themselves? How can we contribute to removing the misconceptions about beauty worldwide?

1. BE EACH OTHERS BIGGEST SUPPORTERS
2. BUILD OTHERS UP, DON'T TEAR THEM DOWN FOR SELF GRATITUDE
3. LEARN TO LOVE YOURSELF SO YOU CAN BETTER LOVE OTHERS
4. COMPLIMENT EACH OTHER- WE OFTEN THINK IT, AND MORE OFTEN NEED TO SPEAK IT
5. PROMOTE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING
6. BE EACH OTHER'S ACCOUNTABILITY

Thank you for reading, stay tuned for an honest and vulnerable post to come next week...
